Dr. Steve Mills is the California Central Coast’s only board certified, fellowship-trained Men’s Health specialist.
Dr. Mills earned his medical degree at Boston University School of Medicine where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He completed his Internship in General Surgery and Urology Residency training at the University of California, Los Angeles. After completion of his surgical training, he completed additional training at the University of Washington as a fellow in Andrology and Men’s Health where he refined his microsurgical, male fertility and prosthetic surgical skills. He has authored and co-authored nineteen scientific papers over the past decade. He currently lives in Santa Barbara with his wife and daughter.

Insurance.
We service all PPO out-of-network plans in addition to self-pay options. In order to provide the highest quality medical care for our patients we cannot be in-network with most insurance companies. Most set their reimbursement fees so low that being in-network is not financially viable. We strongly feel it is not in the best interest of our patients to use low quality equipment or rush through visits and procedures to accommodate insurance reimbursement. The quality of the treatment we offer is outside the scope of these insurance policies. However, our rates are competitive, transparent and always lower than rejected claims that you might encounter with other providers. Additionally, all visits and services are HSA and FSA eligible and visits can be submitted to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement based on your policy.
